Itinerary

Pick-Up

  • Pick-up from your hotel or the airport at 5:30am.
  • Travel to Jinja (about 2-3 hours drive).

Breakfast & Safety Briefing

  • Light breakfast on arrival at the rafting base.
  • Safety briefing covering how to paddle, what to expect on the rapids, and rescue/safety procedures.
  • All rafting gear provided (helmet, life jacket, wetsuit if seasonal).

White Water Rafting on the Nile

  • Raft the Grade III-V rapids of the Nile, among the best in Africa.
  • Includes famous sections such as First Drop, Double Trouble and Terminator.
  • Guided throughout by skilled, experienced rafting guides.

Typical Rafting Packages

  • Full-Day Rafting (most common): includes gear, meals, drinks and transport.
  • Half-Day Rafting: a shorter option, good for beginners or a tight schedule.

Lunch Break by the River

  • Riverside lunch (often grilled chicken/fish, rice and salads).
  • Time to relax, take photos and swap stories with the group.

Optional Mini Activities / Chill Time

  • Cool off with tubing or a swim.
  • Tubing on the Nile.

Departure

  • Group departs Jinja and heads back toward Kampala.
